{"id":59485,"date":"2020-02-27T17:38:24","date_gmt":"2020-02-27T22:38:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsnsports.net\/?p=59485"},"modified":"2020-02-27T17:38:24","modified_gmt":"2020-02-27T22:38:24","slug":"high-school-hockey-vpa-sets-seed-and-pairings-for-state-tournaments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsnsports.net\/blog\/article\/high-school-hockey-vpa-sets-seed-and-pairings-for-state-tournaments\/","title":{"rendered":"High School Hockey: VPA Sets Seed and Pairings for State Tournaments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MONTPELIER &#8212; The Vermont Principals Association has set the seedings and pairings for the 2020 Vermont state tournaments which begin this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>In boys Division One Essex is the top seed, followed by number two BFA-St.Albans, number three Rice Memorial and number four Stowe.<\/p>\n<p>In boys Division Two Harwood earns the top seed, followed by number two Woodstock, number three Milton and number four Hartford.<\/p>\n<p>In girls Division One Burlington\/Colchester is the top seed, followed by number two BFA-St.Albans, number three Essex and number four Harwood.<\/p>\n<p>In girls Division Two the top seed goes to unbeaten Spaulding, followed by number two North Country\/Lyndon Institute, number three CVU and number four Missisquoi.<\/p>\n<p>In playdowns this weekend, on the boys side in D-1 CVU travels to Rutland on Friday night while South Burlington travels to Ledde Park to play Colchester on Saturday night.<br \/>\nIn boys D-2 playdowns Burlington goes to Burr and Burton and St. johnsbury visits Missisquoi on Friday night &#8230; while on Saturday Northfield plays at Lyndon Institute, U-32 travels to Hartford and Mt.
