{"id":12532,"date":"2016-10-21T21:50:25","date_gmt":"2016-10-22T01:50:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsnsports.net\/?p=12532"},"modified":"2016-10-21T21:50:25","modified_gmt":"2016-10-22T01:50:25","slug":"high-school-football-hines-leads-essex-past-rebels-32-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsnsports.net\/blog\/article\/high-school-football-hines-leads-essex-past-rebels-32-15\/","title":{"rendered":"High School Football: Hines Leads Essex Past Rebels 32-15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SOUTH BURLINGTON<\/strong> &#8212; Jordan Hines ran for four touchdowns and the Essex Hornets secured a home field berth in next week&#8217;s Division One Playoffs with a 32-15 win over the South Burlington Rebels on Friday night on Munson Field.<\/p>\n<p>Hines scored on runs of eight, fifty-five, five and nineteen yards for the Hornets, who built a 26-7 halftime lead on route to their sixth win of the season. \u00a0Grady Corkum scored Essex&#8217;s other touchdown on an eight yard second quarter touchdown pass from quarterback Otis Crock.<\/p>\n<p>South Burlington scored on a one yard second quarter run by Manny Boardman and a fifty-four yard third quarter pass from quarterback Kevin Papaariello to Paul O&#8217;Neil.<\/p>\n<p>Both Hines and Boardman rolled up impressive yardage totals in the game, which was played in a steady misting rain.<\/p>\n<p>Essex goes to the playoffs at 6-2. The Rebels will play a consolation round game next week.
